It’s barbecue time! Thanks to the inventor of slow cookers, the results are always fall off the bone deliciousness.
Country style ribs are really meaty, tasty and no nibbling off the bone. Low and slow for 6-8 hours in your choice of barbecue sauce or other ingredients. It’s a breeze to finish them on the grill or baked. Pair it with classic coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad or cornbread for a meal you and your family will enjoy! Go ahead give them a try : )
Ingredients: 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1/2 cup bourbon – 1 cup barbecue sauce – 1/2 liter Dr. Pepper – 3 tbsp. tomato paste – 1 garlic clove – 1 tsp salt and pepper
Directions: Combine the brown sugar, bourbon, bbq sauce & tomato paste. Pour Dr. Pepper into the slow cooker and stir in the ingredients (I allow the cooker to warm up and then stir the ingredients again). Place the garlic clove and short ribs into the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-8 hrs. Note: I finished them on the grill. Brushed with barbecue sauce.
