Baked Apple Cider Donuts

Fall flavors!! This irresistible donut is baked & coated with cinnamon sugar. Perfect with a hot cup of coffee : )

I have wonderful memories picking apples & pumpkins with my son! Apple Cider donuts were a must-have during our yearly Pumpkin Patch visit. This recipe is simple & so delicious!

Tip: do not over mix the batter. The texture will be perfect. Definitely add this to your Fall baking list! Have a great day & stay safe. 🧡🍂 #fallbaking

INGREDIENTS

CIDER DONUTS

  • 1 ¾ cup (225 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 10 tablespoons (141 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup (150 g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240 ml) apple cider

CINNAMON SUGAR COATING

  • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter, melted
